Resurrection in the Tanakh
Is now available on the RTM YouTube Channel!!!
In Luke 24:25-27 & 44-48 Yeshua stated emphatically that His death, burial and resurrection in 3 days was prophesied in the Torah, Prophets and Psalms! Yet most believers, when asked to give an example of Yeshua’s death, burial and resurrection in 3 days FROM THE TORAH ONLY, are hard-pressed to find even ONE specific example. This is THE teaching that will "open the Scriptures" to you just like what happened to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus! Strap in and buckle up because you are going to be taken on a tour through the entire Tanakh where you will learn all about the prophesies of Yeshua's death, burial and resurrection in 3 days! More importantly, you will learn that the idea of resurrection on day 3 is NOT A NEW TESTAMENT CONCEPT. It is thoroughly rooted in the Tanakh (Old Testament), and one of the major topics of the Tanakh! Thus, this series of teachings will give you an OLD TESTAMENT FOUNDATION concerning concept of resurrection on day 3!
Who Are the Prophetic Forerunners of the Man-Child/144,000 of the Book of Revelation? Part 3
This is the latest article in Tony’s on-going series of teachings on the book of Revelation. Our current goal is to identify prophetic forerunners (in the Tanakh) of the man-child of Revelation 12. By identifying the prophetic forerunners of the man-child of Revelation 12, we will be able to determine their future ministry, mission and deeds during the great tribulation. This article examines the life of Joseph, one of many who function in the role of a man-child.

Messianic Isaac!
Of all the stories found in the Bible, the episode of the Binding of Isaac found in Genesis 22:1-19 is one of its most enigmatic texts. Bible commentators and scholars of every generation have taken their turn at unraveling its seemingly hidden meaning. Known in Jewish thought as Akedat Yitzchaq (The Binding of Isaac), this story is extremely important to Jews and Christians alike. Its importance to Jewish people is primarily seen in the amount of time devoted to studying it throughout the year. First of all, it is read once per year as part of the yearly Torah cycle during the Torah portion known as Vayeira (And He appeared), which extends from Genesis 18:1 – 22:24. Next, observant Jews read it daily because it is one of the readings performed during the Morning Prayer service also known as the Shacharit service. Thus, it is read an additional 365 days of the year. Finally, it’s also read during the Rosh Hashanah service as a special reading. Therefore, an observant Jew could potentially read this story at least 367 times per year!Â
The importance of the binding of Isaac to Christians is based upon the role this story plays in their view of the purpose of the death of Yeshua the Messiah. According to Christian theology, the binding of Isaac serves as a prophetic picture of the willingness of Adonai to allow His only begotten Son to be executed on behalf of sinful mankind for the forgiveness of their sins. Abraham’s readiness to sacrifice Isaac and Isaac’s willingness to be sacrificed are seen as prophecies of the willingness of Adonai to allow Yeshua, His Son, to be sacrificed and the willingness of Yeshua to be sacrificed as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of the world.
This teaching series will take a DEEP look into the binding of Isaac, where we’ll see and understand some of the most fantastic messianic prophecy in the Bible. There is so much here, you will truly be satisfied once you’ve tasted Messianic Isaac - Coming soon!
