New Creation Midrash

New Creation Midrash is a song I wrote that captures the connections between the creation account of Genesis chapter 1-3 and John chapter 1-3. The apostle John is doing a midrash on the creation account. That’s why he starts off in John 1:1 with “In the beginning”! The creation account is a midrash on how Adonai takes the chaos, darkness and confusion of our lives before Messiah, breathes life into us and makes us new creations, II Corinthians 5:17-21.
